Chinese Garden opens in St Anne’s Park

A new Chinese “Suzhou” Garden has opened in Dublin to celebrate the Dublin Chinese New Year Festival.

Suzhou is a city in China that is known as “The Garden City” or “The Venice of the East“.

The garden is located within the “Clock Tower Model Gardens“, off the Main Avenue in St. Anne’s Park, and it can be accessed from the Garden for Patio & Miniature Roses, via the Herbaceous Borders (see the Map of St. Anne’s Park for details). Continue reading →

Tir na nÓg Red Stables – The Saint Anne’s Trail

Unfortunately, St. Anne’s Park does not have any “official” trails. You are offered a great number of different paths, each one will offer you a surprise of a pond, a stream, a rose garden garden, or an “old ruin” – one of the ten garden follies.

One “unofficial” trail has been recommended by J. Shannon, the Park’s Superintendent – The Saint Anne’s Trail (detailed information on this trail is published on Clontarf Online website).
